FAQ

LAIF 2024 SETUP AND BREAK-DOWN INFORMATION

  1. LOCATION:
    • The show is at the WALTER REED COMMUNITY CENTER, 2909 S. 16th St., Arlington, VA 22204, just off S. Walter Reed Drive, off Columbia Pike. Saturday, April 27, 2023, from 11 AM – 4 PM.
  1. SETUP: TIMES:
    • You can set up your table on SATURDAY, April 27, 2024, from 8:30 AM -10:45 AM. 
  1. SETUP: UNLOADING/ EXHIBITOR PARKING
    • Designated EXHIBITOR PARKING is located behind the building, accessible from S. 16th St. Please print your Exhibitor Parking Permit and park there. There is a paved way from the parking to the entrance. There is also an unload area marked in yellow, close to the main entrance. 
  1. SETUP: UNLOADING AND SETTING UP:
    • Tables and chairs will be set up in the main exhibitor hall. Your table will be marked with the name of your Company, Group or Entity. The Fair takes place in a large gym with hardwood floor. If you plan to bring things that may damage such a floor, please BRING YOUR OWN protective CARPET. 
    • BRING YOUR DOLLY if you require one. Please use dollies with soft rubber wheels. We may be able to help if you need a light cart. Please let us know in advance. 
    • Bring your own extension cord/power strip if you plan to use electricity. Not all tables have access to electric outlets. Please let us know if you need electricity in advance. 
    • Do not drag anything across the floor. 
    • Do not pierce the floor or use duct tape or adhere anything to the floor except with painters tape. If you have any questions, please ask us. We will be there to help. 
  1. SETUP: YOUR TABLE
    • At arrival please sign-up with LAIF Staff. We will welcome you and guide you to your table. We provide two chairs with each table. Please let us know if you need more or a different accommodation and also if you need access to an electric outlet. 
    • Please bring your own tablecloth! 
  1. BREAK DOWN: TIMES
    • The Fair ends at 4 PM. We strongly discourage you from vacating your table until the show officially ends. You can take down your table between 4 PM and 5:00 PM. 
  2. LUNCH: We offer boxed sandwiches around lunchtime to our exhibitors. Two tickets for table.
